The following should be done to establish a connection to your Zammad installation:

  1. Create a separate admin user that is only used for this purpose
  2. Log in to the Zammad installation with the user or switch to the user view via Action
    1. Switch to the user's profile settings via the avatar (bottom left)
    2. Open the Token Access page
      1. Create a new token with the name WHMCS, for example, and leave the expiration date blank
      2. Adjust permissions:
        1. admin.channel_email
        2. admin.group
        3. ticket.agent
      3. Save and cache the created token (can no longer be displayed later)
